Welcome to my Webpage!
My first book, Burger Chef, is a pictorial history of the popular hamburger chain published by Arcadia Publishing.

In 1958, Frank P. Thomas, Jr., Donald J. Thomas and Robert E. Wildman, owners of the General Equipment Company, a company that manufactured restaurant equipment in Indianapolis, Indiana, decided to create a division of their company called Burger Chef. Starting with eight restaurants the first year, Burger Chef eventually grew to become the second-largest hamburger chain in the United States by the mid-1960s.
